Piedmont Academy's Senior and Junior Y-Clubs hosted a breakfast at the school on Veterans' Day for area veterans. Ms. Julie's K-5 class led the Pledge of Allegiance. Each veteran stood and shared in which branch of the military he/she served, number of years served and in which war, if any, they served.

Students in Ms. Galloway's elementary and middle school art classes made the decorations for the event. All the men and women were so appreciative and enjoyed visiting with their children, grandchildren and one another.

Y-Club members coordinating and serving the breakfast included Lucy Strickland, Andrew Mitchell, Savannah McGinnis, Dallas Fletcher, Caitlin Tillman, Britton Bailey, Brianna Bailey, Brittnee Phillips, Hank Strickland, Emmie Kelly, Abigail Hyde, Lacy Adamson, Parker Kelly, Kaitlin Brooks, Glade Tuggle, Hailey Burnham, Samantha Ramsdell, Matti Smith, Haley Tyler, Bridgette Phillips, Blakely Arp, Starr Batchelor, Gracie Brittain, Madison Burnham, Chris Coogler, Alina Jablonski, Ashley Johnston, Anna Knox, Danny Ramsdell, Morgan Spivey, Jill Strickland, Taylor Swart, Morgan Leach, Jackson Waddleton and Bailyn Whitaker. Y-Club sponsors, Jana Arp and Christie Wallace helped with the coordination of the event.
