The northwest corner of the Covington Square was full of Veterans, friends, family and supporters Friday morning as homage was paid to Newton County's former military members.

Covington's annual Veteran's Day celebration was held in front of the veteran's memorial on the Square, in front of the Newton County Historic Courthouse.
