The Newton County Animal Shelter’s pet of the week is a domestic short-haired cat, tiger colored with white, a young adult, very sweet and friendly and loveable. She shelter has other cats and kittens for adoption, all needing good homes. Also available for adoption, are a 10 2-month-old puppies, Aussie/Lab mix; a black Lab mix, 3-months-old; an adult Lab mix, blonde; two 8-week-old mixed breed puppies, one golden and one brown; an adult Dachshund and two Dachshund puppies; four mixed breed puppies, 8 weeks old, all colors; a 1-year-old beagle; a blond adult mixed breed named Hunter; an Akita; and a black Lab mix. There are other mixed breed available. The shelter has cats and kittens available for adoption.
