The Turner Lake Road pedestrian tunnel is closed as workers reseal and paint its walls. Sealants failed to adhere and paint was peeling so workers had to close the tunnel for sandblasting and reapplications of the materials, said Covington Transportation Manager Billy Skinner. Weather has delayed the work, which was supposed to have been completed by Feb. 4.
