Oxford set for second round of hearings


The first readings are done, and now the city of Oxford is set to hold a second round of hearings on Monday on a proposed change to the form of city government, a proposed homestead exemption and changes to the city’s retirement plan. The Oxford City Council in a called meeting on Tuesday held hearings on changing the city’s form of government to one led by a full-time city manager, and a proposed $10,000 exemption for owner-occupied homes.
