Eastside's Got Talent

The Eastside High School Chorus hosts the 2013 Eastside’s Got Talent Show tonight.

The third annual talent show takes place at 6:30 p.m. in the EHS auditorium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and educators with a school ID.

New restaurants

Moe’s Southwest Grill opened its Covington location Wednesday to large crowds. The fast-casual Mexican restaurant retrofitted the old bank building, 3147 U.S. Highway 278, between Baskin-Robbins and Dairy Queen in Newton Plaza.

Dirty Dogs Café opened just off the square this month. Located at 1109 Reynolds St., Covington, Dirty Dogs offers a variety of 100 percent black Angus beef hot dogs as well as burgers and other sandwiches.
