A woman was arrested over the weekend after she allegedly stole several cases of beer from a local grocery store while her toddler was with her.

Officers were called to Ingles on U.S. Highway 278 and while en route, dispatchers were checking the license plate number. The plate came back to a woman in Porterdale who reportedly told officers that her daughter Kelli Lindsay Helderbrand and granddaughter were using the car at that time.

The store was able to provide a video which showed a woman who allegedly matched Helderbrand's license photo and could clearly be seen pushing a buggy with a small toddler, entering the beer aisle and placing two cases of Natural Light and one case of Busch Light beer in the buggy. She is then seen looking around for employees before walking out of the store without paying for the beer.

The total of the beer was $57.37 and the employees at Ingles were advised of the warrant process in order to have Helderbrand charged.
