Jay Sean, Travis Porter, B.o.B will take the stage at annual 95.5FM concert Saturday

The Mall at Stonecrest and 95.5 The BEAT will celebrate the beginning of summer season with the fourth annual "Meet the BEAT," a live concert event featuring international superstar Jay Sean ("Down," "Do You Remember") and Atlanta’s hometown favorites B.o.B ("Nothin’ on You," "Haterz Everywhere") and Travis Porter ("Go Shorty Go," "All Da Way Turnt Up,") the very popular D&D Custom Car Show and a fun kid’s activity area on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. on the plaza.

"Meet the BEAT" is presented by Metro PCS and offers a free concert event on the Stonecrest Stage to celebrate the kick-off of the summer season. Fans can meet their favorite 95.5 The BEAT DJs, like Murph Dawg and CJ in the Morning, K-Dub, Maverick, Mami Chula, Johnny D, Traci Steele, Mo Reilley and Adam.

The expanded Kids Zone features three different moon-walk stations, also sponsored by Metro PCS as well as Georgia Perimeter College.

Artists

Jay Sean, is a British singer-songwriter and record producer who was signed by Cash Money Records in 2008 following a hugely successful career in Europe and South East Asia. In 2009, his American debut single "Down" topped the Billboard Hot 100, making him the first solo artist of South Asian origin and first UK urban act to top the Hot 100. It was the seventh-best selling song of 2009, having sold more than three million digital copies in the United States, and six million copies worldwide, making him the most successful British/European male urban artist in U.S. chart history.

It was soon followed by another hit, "Do You Remember," which has sold more than a million copies in the US, and entered the top ten on the Hot 100, making him the first male act since Chingy in 2003 to "simultaneously appear in the Hot 100 top 10 with his first two charting singles, which are included in his American-debut album All or Nothing. Fans are invited to meet Jay Sean up close and personal with purchase of his US debut CD All or Nothing from Borders Stonecrest. Proof of purchase is required to access the meet and greet event. Each guest in line must have a newly purchased CD to qualify.

B.o.B, also known as Bobby Ray, is a recording artist and producer from Atlanta. He is currently signed under the labels of Grand Hustle and Atlantic Records. His debut album, B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray, will be released on Tuesday, April 27, because of the success of his song "Nothin’ on You," which is receiving nationwide airplay. Fans can also meet B.o.B with purchase of his debut CD The Adventures of Bobby Ray from Borders Stonecrest. Proof of purchase is required to access the meet and greet event. Each guest in line must have a newly purchased CD to qualify.

The first single, "I’ll Be in the Sky," was released in late 2008. About.com called the song a "smart, funky artrap and a strong prelude to his album" and included it at No. 13 on its subjective ranking "Top 100 Rap Songs of 2008." The music videos for "I’ll Be in the Sky," "Generation Lost," "Put Me On," and "No Mans Land" can be found on MySpace or YouTube. B.o.B. has recently released two new singles that are featured on his debut album, "Don’t Let Me Fall" and "Airplanes."
