An accused drunk driver was hospitalized after crashing into two power poles early Sunday morning in Porterdale.
According to Georgia State Patrol (GSP), Johnathan Warren, 22, from Conyers, was traveling on Broad Street, south of Spruce Street, around 2 a.m. when his vehicle left the roadway in a curve and crashed into the power poles.
Warren was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center for treatment of injuries and no one else was injured.
Speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the wreck. Warren was charged with failing to maintain lane, open container and DUI, according to a GSP spokesperson.
