A 31-year-old Palmetto, Ga., man was arrested Saturday after reportedly assaulting several people with a knife.

When deputies from the Newton County Sheriff’s Office arrived, they found that the man, later identified as Eric Javarr Little, had cut a juvenile with a knife while fighting with another adult male and was trying to stab that male and a woman at the time.

Deputies found that one juvenile had a small cut on his hand, and another juvenile had a red mark on the back of his neck where Little had allegedly grabbed his neck and moved him out of the way to get to the adults. A third child in the house had called 911.

Little was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass, cruelty to children and battery under the Family Violence Act.
