COVINGTON, Ga. - The Covington Lions Club celebrated 100 years of service Thursday night. In the celebration, Newton County Chairman Marcello Banes proclaimed June as Lions Club month in the county. The club also donated a bike rack to the City of Covington to commemorate 100years.
