Newton Fund kicked off Jersey Day at the board room in Covington’s historic courthouse on Friday. The Jersey Day initiative will focus on developing philanthropic opportunities with local businesses by donating a few dollars to wear their favorite jerseys to work each Friday. Proceeds will be awarded to Newton County nonprofits in early 2015.
