The event will be held 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 7 in Porterdale.

You can bring a picnic and spread out on the banks of the Yellow River by the Porterdale lofts, then take a stroll through the exhibit of art from the Southern Heartland Art Guild, Margaret Warfield and Susan Adams.
Later, you can dance under the moonlight with music from a live band.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors. They can be purchased online at, by phone at (770) 786-8188 and in person at the Arts Association in Newton County office at 1106 Washington St. on the square.
