Roland L. Wilson was found guilty in the 2009 murder of 21-year-old William Okafor, who died as a result of injuries sustained from being struck in the head with a brick following an argument outside his home.
Wilson reportedly went to Okafor's home, along with three other men, knocked on his door and lured the victim outside. Okafor's parents heard arguing on the side of the house and a relative of the victim reported that they witnessed Wilson striking Okafor in the head with a brick.
He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries Aug. 1, 2009. The other three are still being sought by investigators.
Wilson was found guilty around 6 p.m. of felony murder and aggravated battery. His sentencing is tentatively scheduled for Monday afternoon.
