Georgia Piedmont Technical College in Covington held its Family Fun and Food Fest Saturday. The free event featured everything from face painting to tractor rides, health checks and information, and demonstrations by Police K-9 Services, EMS, Police Explorers, GBI Internet Safety, and more.

Georgia Piedmont Technical College in Covington will hold its Family Fun and Food Fest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 22.

The free event will offer face painting and storytelling, snow cones, balloon animals, inflatable funhouses, soft tennis courts, tractor rides, games, and music and entertainment.

Free on-site services will include vital-signs checks, blood-pressure and blood-sugar checks, cholesterol checks, child safety seat checks, basic vehicle service tips, and child ID kits.

On-site demonstrations will be offered by Police K-9 Services, EMS, Police Explorers, GBI Internet Safety, and more.
