Event to help parents of autistic youth

Join the parents’ roundtable to discuss helping children with autism on Feb. 6, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Newton College and Career Academy.


Presented by Newton County’s Career Technical Instruction Department, topics will include how to help children with autism in forming friendships, dating and sexuality and self-advocacy. There will also be a mini-viewing of the documentary “Wretchers and Jabberers” and a resource list available.
