COVINGTON, Ga. – Investigators with the Covington Police Department are looking for whoever is responsible for multiple car break-ins at City Pond Park Friday evening.

According to CPD incident reports, the smash and grab thefts occurred while the victims were watching youth league baseball games at the park.

Purses containing cash and credit cards, along with spare car keys, a garage door opener and small electronics were reported stolen after the thieves reportedly busted out car windows.

According to the reports, no one reported seeing the thefts.
