NEWTON COUNTY — The Newton County Senior Center will be hosting a special benefit concert on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. at Porter Performing Arts Center. The “Going Way Back” show will feature classic oldies as well as fun instrumental selections that all ages are sure to enjoy.

The audience will be treated with appearances of a variety of well-known local talent. Giving an old school vibe, the Chrissy Collins Band will liven up the crowd with memorable hits that will make you sing along. Keeping the show moving while bringing lots of humor along the way will be none other than clean comedian, “Mz. Wallstreet.” Ron Atwater will dazzle the crowd with some snazzy saxophone tunes and Chadwick Thomas, known as “Mr. Violin” and “The Future of Music” will add energy and a contemporary contrast to the show with his electric violin.

Come enjoy this opportunity for fabulous entertainment without having to drive far away or fight traffic.
