Law enforcement leadership conference underway at NCCA

COVINGTON, Ga. – The Newton County Sheriff’s Office color guard presents the American flag to open the first annual Local Law Enforcement Leadership Conference at the Newton County College and Career Academy. Public safety professionals from around the area and local elected officials were on hand Tuesday morning as Sheriff Ezell Brown welcomed attendees to the NCSO hosted event. 

The theme of the conference is “Redefining the Organizational Culture by Building Morale”. The keynote speaker is retired Portsmouth, Virginia Police Sgt. Michael J. Coker. The conference runs until noon on Sept. 13.
