The Learning Center, Newton County's only early literacy nonprofit organization, will offer performances of "Go, Dog. Go!" at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday at the Porterdale Mill Lofts.

The production, originally written for the Seattle Children's Theatre, will be staged by the Well Digger Performance Troupe, part of the Social Circle Theater.

Tickets are available from Square Perk Café on the Square in Covington for the following prices: $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students ages 6 to 12, $3 for children ages 2 to 5 and free for children younger than age 2.

The Learning Center is also accepting sponsorships for the show. People can offer anywhere from $5 - which will provide a free ticket to a needy child - to $250 - which will provide product placement in the show and a logo in the program.
