At an informational meeting Wednesday afternoon, the Oxford City Council heard and saw a proposal to bring a mixed use development to the town. Randy Vinson of Live Work Building Company made the presentation.

When completed, the development, located at the corner of Clark Street and Emory Street near Oxford City Hall, would contain a hotel with a coffee shop, a restaurant and condominiums, along with a greenspace and a gazebo

The council put discussion of the project on the agenda for its next work session. The session is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday.
