The square will be blocked off to traffic from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. tonight for filming of "The Vampire Diaries" in front of the Mystic Grill restaurant.

Filming will also take place at the corner of Washington and Church streets on the square from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with intermittent traffic control.

Some parking spaces are blocked off.

Crews are wrapping up filming at 3 p.m. at the Bank of North Georgia on Mill Street.

The square will also host a political announcement at 4 p.m., as DeKalb County Sheriff Tom Brown kicks off his primary campaign against Democratic incumbent Congressman Hank Johnson for Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District.
