The McIntosh Trail Early Childhood Development Council, the local Head Start program, was evacuated around 11 a.m. Monday morning because of an unknown odor, but fire officials responded to the scene and found no problems, according to the Covington Fire Department.

The odor had thought to have been smoke or from an electrical device, but there was no fire or other serious problem at the building, located at 7153 Turner Lake Circle.
