Police are still searching as of Wednesday afternoon for two men who robbed the Covington Pizza Hut around 10 p.m. Monday night.

An employee exited the back door of the restaurant to dispose of garbage when he was surprised by two black men, one of whom had a gun and threatened the employee not to look at the men, according to a Covington Police Department press release.

The men then took the employee's belt and tied it around his hands and escorted the man back into the store and ordered him and other employees to the ground. The other employees were also tied up. Capt. Ken Malcom said there were approximately six employees, but no customers were in the restaurant.

The men took cash and cell phones from each employee. They attempted to enter the store safe and to steal an employee's car, but were unsuccessful and ended up fleeing on foot.

One of the suspects is described as 6'5" black male weighing between 260 and 300 pounds and was last seen wearing a black ski mask, blue sweatshirt and grey pants.

Police are offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
