A body found in the woods off Crowell Road Sunday evening has yet to be identified but is awaiting examination at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab. The body was found by a man who was searching for Civil War relics. According to 1st Lt. Mark Mitchell with the Newton County Sheriff's Office, the body was found about 7 p.m. just south of the Access Road.
