The Chicken Tracks Art Ranch and Chuck Hanes and Elizabeth Collins of Beauty and Beast Art are hosting a new outdoor arts festival the weekend before Thanksgiving.
The festival will be at Chicken Tracks Art Ranch, 2855 Broughton Road in Newborn, Nov. 21 and Nov. 22.
Folk art and pottery, handcrafted jewelry, knives, fabric art and more will be available for visitors to select gifts for special loved ones or themselves. Handmade soaps, cheeses and other artisan products will also be available.
The Chicken Tracks Arts Festival is an interactive arts experience for the entire family. There will be live painting demonstrations, a pottery studio tour and art cars onsite. All visitors and artists are invited to help create a community art project and a young artists’ exhibit and sale booth.
Live music will be provided by Johnny Roquemore and the Apostles of Bluegrass, Keep Off the Grass, and other local musicians. The community is invited to a Pickin’ Circle Sunday afternoon from 1-3 p.m.
Food will be available by Lucy’s Wings and Things of Newborn.
