Graduation day: Social Circle Elementary School graduated its class of C.H.A.M.P.S. on Friday. Members of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office presented students with information on drugs, gangs, peer pressure and self-respect, and every fifth grader at the school graduated with honors. An essay contest was held, and one winner was selected from each class. The winners were Cassie Mayfield, Courtney Davis, Elena Sherrill, Will Haynes and Yasmine Bolden. A special award for spirit was awarded to Precious Williams.
