PORTERDALE, Ga. - The Covington/Newton Chamber of Commerce's Seventh Annual Taste of Newton event was a success Thursday evening in the historic Porter Memorial Gymnasium. 

Businesses and restaurants from all over the county provided samplings, ranging from bar-be-que to soup to dessert options, to residents.
