COVINGTON, Ga. – Thomas’ Buffet, the “All You Can Eat” country home cooking restaurant next to the railroad tracks on Emory Street,  has closed for renovations.

According to the Building Owner and General Manager Daniel Park, renovations on the business just north of Highway 278 should take about a month. Park said the restaurant will re-open as Tiffany’s Hometown Buffet once work is completed. Park promises the same kind of food, with additional kid-friendly items like chicken nuggets.

“We are fully dedicated to making the buffet right,” he said.

Park said that The Depot Sports Bar and Grill, which shares the building with the buffet, will continue to operate during the renovations.
