It was a grand day for Tim and Jessica Hutchinson Saturday, as they celebrated the opening of their new State Farm office located at 306 Village Circle in Social Circle.

Tim Hutchinson, a native of Greenville, South Carolina, was recruited by State Farm, before recently becoming an agent and moving to open the new business just behind the Blue Willow Inn.

The business has continually grown since it began operations just a short time before Saturday’s Grand Opening Celebration thanks to Tim and Jessica getting the word out in the community. That was evident Saturday, as the grand opening also involved face painting, food offerings, an appearance from Social Circle fire fighters and giveaways.

“It’s already such a privilege to be serving this sweet community,” Tim and Jessica said in a recent email. “We’re looking forward to meeting and building relationships with many more folks.

The Huthcinsons and the new State Farm agency have also been involved in community service projects such as service banks and sponsoring a Little League baseball team.

The Village Circle State Farm will also be participating in a ribbon cutting Friday.
