The Georgia Department of Labor's Covington Career Center and the Covington/Newton Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor a career and job expo Tuesday, Oct. 18. It will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Georgia Piedmont Technical College, 8100 Bob Williams Parkway, Covington.

The career and job expo will feature a number of employers and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. Some employers will be hiring, while others will be discussing possible future employment opportunities.

Applicants should bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available jobs.
