Chick-fil-A fans camp out 12 hours prior to Salem Bridge's grand opening

COVINGTON, Ga. - Upwards of 80 Chick-fil-A fans couldn't wait to line up in the parking lot of Salem Bridge's Chick-fil-A First 100 Grand Opening event at 12290 Brown Bridge Road in Covington. 

The location will open Tues., Sept. 10 at 6am. They will continue to take campers until they reach 100 and then an additional 10 alternates. 

To celebrate, Operator Chris Giella is awarding a year supply of meals to the first 100 in line when they open tomorrow morning but campers were allowed to start lining up at the 12-hour mark. 

Campers arrived to secure their spot for their year supply of chicken.They will be hunkering down for the next 12-hours passing the time while being hosted by Chick-fil-A. They will be fed dinner with an evening snack. 

Games, entertainment, prizes and a block party with a lip sync battle in the evening that will also help pass the time.
