The Covington-Newton County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a housing forum at 7 p.m. tonight at The Center for Community Preservation and Planning, 2104 Washington St. SW, Covington.

The forum is for the public, real estate agents, bankers and anyone else interested in learning more about how many employees Baxter is planning on hiring, when those employees may be moving to the area and what that means for the local housing market.

The forum is being held in conjunction with the East Metro Board of Realtors.
