The Ace Home Center has been in Social Circle for more than 50 years and is one of the pillars of the tightly-knit community.

Owned and operated by the second generation of the Clegg family, the hardware store combines a nostalgic country atmosphere with Christian beliefs and attitudes.

The 9-acre, 18,000 square-foot facility houses all types of hardware and other merchandise and more than 60 employees are available to help customers.

For the holiday season, the Ace store has sales on holiday items including Christmas trees, wreaths, lights, extension cords, electric carving knives, roasters with racks, heaters and more than 25 selections of bulk candy.

Store services include equipment rental, storm window and screen manufacturing and repair, equipment delivery, blueprint material take-offs and estimates, cutting and threading steel pipe, cutting glass, cutting bulk rope and chain, cutting and flaring copper tubing, duplicating keys, computer paint matching, filling propane and C02, small engine repair and service, chainsaw and mower blade sharpening, replacing kerosene heater wicks and computerized pool water testing.
