Animal control donates to NCSO

The Newton County Humane Society donated a check to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office to help with the purchase of a vest for one of the four K-9 officers at the NCSO.

All three tracking dogs and one drug dog (Jiggs, Elvis, Pete and Sam) are in need of vests, which cost between $600-$900 each. The humane society donated a check for $500.
