High school students in the Newton County School System are invited to attend a PROBE College Fair at Alcovy High School Wednesday, September 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the school commons area.

PROBE is an organized college fair tour and attracts representatives from non-profit educational institutions to shopping malls, civic centers and high schools throughout Georgia. About 70 colleges and technical colleges will be represented.

During the PROBE fair, students and parents will have the opportunity to speak with college representatives on topics like financial aid, housing, programs of study, admissions requirements, scholarships and campus life.

“We encourage high school parents and students to attend the PROBE College Fair,” said Dee Maxwell, Alcovy High School graduation coach. “This is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to see the many options available to them in terms of colleges, programs of study and financial aid.”
