A sordid twist on Valentines Day lovers

Two high school friends were arrested on Valentine’s Day, charged with pimping and prostitution.

Tile Ceatrice McGill, 21, of Marietta was advertising the services of Sierra Lynn Carhart, 19, on a website. A Covington man made arrangements to have the two come to Newton County in order to engage in oral sex with Carhart for $100, according to Newton County Sheriff’s Investigator Jeff Alexander.

Carhart and her "client" were inside a Newton County home when a neighbor noticed the suspicious vehicle and called 911. A NCSO deputy arrived and found McGill and another man outside in a car. After an initial investigation, she called the Criminal investigation Division for assistance and the two high school friends were arrested and charged with pimping and prostitution.

Inappropriate iPad IMing

The father of an elementary-aged girl called the Newton County Sheriff’s Office Friday afternoon, reporting that a man had been having sexually explicit conversations with his daughter, and had sent her inappropriate pictures through the Internet.

The girl was reportedly using an iPad and was on a chat room and photo-share site. When her father looked at the iPad, he found the explicit conversation and photos of the male’s private parts that had been sent to his daughter.

The case is currently under investigation with pending charges of enticing a child for indecent purposes. The girl’s father took the iPad away from her.
