LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — The founder of a science-fiction convention has been denied bond multiple charges of child molestation.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Friday reported (http://bit.ly/YZIY2f ) Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge Karen Beyers ruled that Edward Kramer's past behavior has indicated he poses a risk of not adhering to his bond conditions.

Kramer was charged with molestation in Gwinnett County in 2000, but was declared unfit to stand trial because of a spinal condition. He was accused of molesting three boys between 1996 and 2000. He was put on house arrest and ordered to have no contact with children under 16. Officials say 52-year-old Kramer was given permission to travel in 2008 and was found in 2011 in a Connecticut motel room with a 14-year-old boy in September.
