ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia has signed Cameron Forte, one of the nation's top junior college scorers.

The 6-foot-7 forward will have three years of eligibility after playing at Howard College in Big Spring, Texas.

Georgia coach Mark Fox calls Howard a versatile player who has a "real knack" for scoring. Forte averaged 22.5 points for a 30-7 Howard team, ranking fourth among Division I junior college players.

He averaged 36.2 points as a senior at McClintock High School in Tempe, Ariz.

Last week, Georgia signed forward Paul Geno of Booneville, Miss.

Last fall, Georgia signed high school guards J.J. Frazier of Glennville, Ga., and Juwan Parker of Tulsa, Okla.
