ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters are warning of dense fog that could create hazardous driving conditions in Georgia.
The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory that covers large parts of north and central Georgia.
The advisory is scheduled to run through 10 a.m. Wednesday. It overs cities such as Columbus, Macon, Athens, Gainesville, Rome and all of metro Atlanta.
The weather service said the fog is leading to visibilities of a quarter of a mile or less at times.
