SNELLVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Police were searching for a gunman after finding the bodies of three people shot to death in Atlanta's northeastern suburbs.
Officers responded to the home in Snellville around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, after someone called 911 to report a domestic dispute in the Gwinnett County community. They found two people wounded outside the home. WSB-TV reports that one of them died.
Gwinnett County police Officer Jeffrey Richter tells CBS Atlanta that officers weren't sure if the person who fired shots was still inside the home, so they called for a SWAT team to clear it. Once inside the home, officers found two more people shot to death.
Richter tells WXIA-TV that police do not believe the shooter is among the dead or wounded.
Officers were searching for the suspected gunman early Monday.
