Thanks for joining us again. Before we get started I'd like to give a shout-out to Joshua Jacobson, the "Piedmont Bluesman." We covered him several weeks ago and mentioned his new album release. Recently, Guitar World magazine, an international publication, did a story on Joshua and the new album. That's good stuff! Here's what's on tap this week.

Today, Feb. 26, Nathan Morgan will be playing at Porterdale Bar & Grill at 3 p.m. as part of the Sunday afternoon concert series. Based out of McDonough, this guy has been impressing folks all around.

Featured Show: Hannah Thomas live at The Listening Room at Irish Bred Pub, Saturday, March 4 8 p.m. with Leighlynn Shine opening

Hannah, who we've covered several times in this space, is making her return to The Listening Room. A hometown girl who's made good, Thomas has been a professional musician for several years and has played and recorded with a several well-known talents all over the country.  She'll be playing songs from her new album, "Faultline," as well as several of her other superb originals and a few covers. Hannah has recently moved to Nashville and we have no doubt that her career will continue to thrive and blossom. With a sound that's a fusion of Americana, Country & Rock, you will not want to miss her soulful voice and incredible guitar prowess.
And having Leighlynn Shine open the show? Wow, that's just icing on the cake. As we've also written about many times, this is easily one of the best groups in our area. This one is a MUST SEE!

Brit Jones live at Amici, Covington, Friday, March 3, 8 p.m.

This fella based out of Athens is a new addition to the Amici rotation. Basically a country sound, his biggest influences are Travis Tritt, Garth Brooks, and Alabama. He's built up quite the following and plays shows all over the great state of Georgia. This should be a fun night.

Brandon Whitley & The Plain Janes live at Lahrceny Tavern, Porterdale, Saturday, March 4 9 p.m.

This is a full band from Winder, GA that is a mix of Rock, Country & Blues. These guys have been together since 2014 and from the videos I've seen, they're pretty tight and have a really good sound.
