Singing praise: Early Hope Baptist Church kicked off the inaugural gospel music series May 31 on the Covington square. The series is co-sponsored by Forrest and Sharron Sawyer’s WGFS radio program "Thy Brother’s and Sister’s Keepers" and Main Street Covington. According to Forrest Sawyer, more than 150 people attended the first concert. The series will continue through November on the last Sunday of the month, with the exception of the month of July.
