COVINGTON, Ga. — District 113 State Rep. Sharon Henderson, D-Covington, distributed free box fans to the Senior Services center at Turner Lake in Covington July 11.

”Due to the excessive heat wave, it’s important to make sure our seniors are cool and comfortable,” Henderson said.

Over 200 fans were distributed, including Henderson organizing deliveries to homebound seniors, she said.
