Lee and Michelle Carter of Monticello would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Leigh Carter, to Adam Kyle Lewis, the son of Patrick and Robin Carey and Billy Queen Jr.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marvin Patterson and the late Eleanor Patterson of Monticello and Betty Jean and the late Tony Carter Jr. of Eatonton. She is a 2008 graduate of Jasper County High School and is currently attending Georgia Perimeter College for nursing. She also is employed by Georgia Perimeter College.

The future groom is the grandson of Robert and Rose Lewis of Mansfield, Billy and Janice Queen Sr. of Covington and Ray and Kathy Fambrough of Madison. He is a 2007 graduate of Faith Academy and is employed by L&M Construction.

The wedding will be held June 8 and the resident of the bride-elect’s parents.
