COVINGTON, Ga. – Chimney Park, “a park with heart”, will once again host Fairy Houses at Chimney Park, a very charming event for children of all ages. The Fairy House festival will be held this year on Saturday, May 6 from 2-5 p.m.

The festival features a beautiful Fairy House Village along with many opportunities for fun. Children can visit a gnome’s home, walk through a fairy tunnel, and enjoy an afternoon of crafts, games, bubbles, archery, and play. In addition, vendors will be on site offering fairy-themed toys, accessories, and more.

Fairy Houses are open to the public with a donation of $5 per person (children under 2 free). The event has become a cherished annual tradition and also serves as a fundraiser for the park. The event is planned and hosted by the Friends of Newton Parks, who also manage the development of the park.

Chimney Park is located at 8201 Hazelbrand Road, in Covington, behind the Newton County Library on Floyd Street.
