Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burney Turner Jr. announce the birth of their son Frank Burney Turner III "Trippe" Dec. 5. at Piedmont Hospital, Atlanta. He weighed 9 pounds and 5 ounces and was 19.27 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mrs. and Mrs. Edward Phillip Stone of Covington, Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burney Turner Sr. of Covington. Great-grandmother is Mrs. Moody Chamberlin Summers Jr.

Sisters of the newborn are Ivy and Julia.
