Laura Berry and Brad Mitchell announce the birth of their son, Austin Brad Mitchell, Sept. 6 at Newton Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Bobby Berry and Kay Balkey of Covington. Paternal grandparents are Greg and Valorie Mitchell. Big brother to the newborn is Cayden Mitchell, age 8.
