Willie Bobby Hill

Mr. Willie Bobby Hill died May 3 in Walton County. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus William (Irene Robinson) Hill, he was born in Walton County in 1928. He attended Social Circle Training School and joined Cargle Chapel AME Church, in Social Circle, at an early age. Mr. Hill was an active and faithful member, serving as custodian, steward and member of the church choir. Mr. Hill was a hard worker and worked at NEPCO Processing Co., Bibb Manufacturing and Ronthor Manufacturing, from which he retired. Mr. Hill was friendly, loving and easy-going. He made many friends and was a joy to residents and nurses at Riverside Nursing Home. He loved walking and singing "One Day." He also enjoyed eating.

Surviving are brothers Mr. Bunnie Hill and Jewell, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Eula) Hill, the Rev. and Mrs. George (Mildred) Hill; sister Mrs. Frances Knox; 12 nieces and nephews; special friends Mrs. Ann McGahee, Mrs. Beatrice Gibbs; a host of cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services were held May 7 at Cargle Chapel AME Church, Social Circle with the Rev. Vivian Green and the Rev. Ahmed Martin officiating. Interment followed at Bennie Hill Cemetery, Social Circle.
