Mrs. Tara Michelle Adair, 39, a lifelong resident of Covington, died March 3. Mrs. Adair attended Eastridge Community Church and Mansfield Baptist Church and High Point Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Newton County High School and enjoyed being involved with her children and all their activities.

Surviving are husband Jason Adair of Covington; sons Chad Cope, Jordan Adair, Jared Adair, Justin Adair, all of Covington; father and stepmother Phil and Rita Johnson of Covington; mother Dolores Davis of Covington; grandmothers Virginia Johnson of Covington, Ruby Davis of Mansfield; step-grandmother Elsie Shepherd of Covington; brothers Michael Johnson, Braden Johnson, Dylan Johnson, all of Covington; sister Mia Allen of Covington; father- and mother-in-law John and Jackie Adair of Covington; four nieces; three nephews.

Funeral services were held March 6 at High Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin Hiens and Dr. Jeff Perkins officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Adair Family, c/o United Community Bank, Covington.
